I got a notice in the mail today from Chase that in order to "maintain profitability on my account" they are raising my interest rate from 10% to 13.24%. I told them it's not to "maintain profitability" it's to INCREASE profitability because they're already maintaining profitability with the rate I currently have. I went through 3 different levels of supervisors and they all cited vague economic reasons for the rate hike and increased risk.
