Bharti telemedia: Airtel Broadband
Airtel telemedia executives called up and explained the Broadbad program. Then agreed to migrate to 16MBPS Rs4999/month 100GB downlaod plan. Now they say the distance is too much and will not be possible before 7-8 months. Why do they have to waste so much time and then come back not possible. Earlier they said that it is possible and would be done by 13th January. Now they called again today and say that I should go for 4440 plan with 50GB downlaod plan with 2MBPS speed? We have applied for the shifting of these numbers on 3rd Dec and then following up everyday. everyday, new information that issue has been closed, wait for 24 hrs, wiring is done, system not working, somebody will call you soon etc etc but nothing is happening. I called up again, now siftware updating is going on so no information can be provided. We are just not able to shift to our new place due to non shifting of numbers and loosing money everyday. I do not know whom to call, can anyone help?

Its funny that instead of solving the problem Airtel refuses to accept their numbers as their numbers and send the following message to run away from the problem and decided not to address the problem

We are working on our new office, got more than 20 calls from different airtel persons on my mobile for offering PRI lines and nobody has been able to submit the offer. they just keep calling. When I called to 121 for proper guidance on PRI, they said someone would call after doing the feasibilty check. They called but they called for broadband and not for PRI. I have also sent an email to 121 but no response yet. I do not know how does their system works? Do you know someone in Gurgaon who can help in PRI line connection with some knowledge read full review »

Calls from Switzerland to Airtel numbers in India and from Airtel numbers to landline numbers in Switzerland not happening for last two weeks. Customer services says that it may take another two weeks. The reason given is some problem with the server and beyond Airtel's capability. It depends on Switzerland companies and probaly there are more countries. Airtel did not inform this mal functioning of service in advance and now also not commiting any time bound solution.
