Owner, also person who towed my husband's car, charged us 175.00 for a simple tow. (Towing service was contacted by police, not us.) Car was not in ditch, damaged or in a difficult spot. Towing service had our car attached to the wrecker and would not give it to my husband unless he paid 175. When questioned later over the phone, owner told me he could not provide an itemized bill for his services and that he makes up charges when he gets to a towing job.
