My husband and I have our mortgage with Citi which was originally with ABN. We have paid that mortgage on time for 6 years. Of course like many other people unfortunately a job loss has caused us to get behind. I sent two payments this month and it was sent back with the attorneys letter of foreclosure. Why not accept the payment and put it towards what we owe?? It would have made us only two months behind.
