I'm a slow learner, and Performance has gotten me repeatedly over the years. Back in the 1980's when orders were by phone, their rep would assure me an item was in stock and get my credit card info. When the item didn't arrive, I would have to call them to find out that it was back ordered and they'd have it in 90 days. They'd also tell me they couldn't cancel the active order, I'd just have to ship the item back them three months after I actually needed it. Now they're doing it on their website.
