this is just a awful hostel i dont know where to start.I arrived in new york tired half asleep but this place was a real eye opener.the whole place was filthy, rotting food in the fridge no covers on the power outlets switches etc. the bedsheets were torn and dirty, the beds smelled.In the toliet sanartry towels were left rotting and smelling.the showers were horrid.also the host[onwer] was rude and abusive, she shouted at me and other guests, a nasty person.when i looked at reviews online I see she and the uptown hostel had a lot of negative... read full review »
