I brought 2 split ACs from Viveks . They mentioned a cost of 1500-- per AC installation excluding any angle bends and extra pipe lenghts . When the installation people came in they said they would charge 750-- extra per AC as my flat had stone walls . This would have been caught if there was a site inspection . When I spoke to the manager at Viveks Jayanagar, he mentioned that customer site inspection would be only provided by customer request .
