I called the 800 number on the front of my user manual for my Whirlpool Front-Loading Washer and requested service. The A & E Factory Service technician showed up, looked at the error code on my washer (F71) and informed me that I needed a new mother-board computer part for my washer. He proceeded to print me off the part number and the cost of the part, $487.44.
