Wow - Just got off the phone with DirecTV "Customer Service" (hah) department. Due to the economy and the inability to keep their service for the full two year commitment (although they repeatedly messed up our service and billing over the past year), I called to cancel service. They would not waive the service fee. We now have to pay $140 to get them out of our lives.
