I got a notice from Citifinancial stating that my fixed interest personal loan was going from %7.9 to %14.9. I thought how is this possible? When I called them they stated that they reserve the right to do so in the agreement. I had to "opt out" of the loan rate hike (90 days to do so from the notice) They closed the account and kept the interest rate the same.
