Motor Cars Direct originally sold me a 2002 BMW that had been in a major accident which they failed to disclose at the time of sale. I took the car in to several different body shops to get expert opinion, both the BMW dealership - body shop and independent body shops. I was told by all of the body shops that the car had been in a major accident and it was reconstructed very poorly !
