I would like you folks to see the enclosed comments from the Director of labs4rescue; Cathy at the facility in Killingworth, CT, when I tried to get her to reduce or waive the application fee and adoption fee, due to the dogs condition, age and underlying and unseen medical and social issues. Personally, I sense the fees are unreasonably high and even discriminatory for the elderly and low-income, due to the dogs condition medically and socially, which is very costly to remedy.
