We received our special assessment notice today, interesting timing since we just exchanged to an RCI resort last Thursday and the language on the exchange agreement states that I warrant all my dues and assessments are current. So, if I refuse to pay this outragous assessment, will I get to the resort and be turned away? We have paided thousands of dollars to get into a unit in the original Club Regina that only had 3 resorts and an additional $3600 to "upgrade" to Raintree.
