I bought a Toshiba A75 laptop in 2005. By 2006, it needed to have the 'motherboard' replaced, while still under warrantee. I had to drive approximately 1 hour away to a Toshiba provider, and had to pay $60 to get the computer back in 2 weeks, otherwise I would not have gotten it back for 6 weeks. It still never worked properly, it would run loud, get hot, and shut down. I bought an Apple Macbook in 2007, and I love it. The Apple folks couldn't even transfer my files because the Toshiba piece of crap wouldn't stay on long... read full review »
