I subscribed to a service that provides background checks on individuals. This service was offered by INTELIUS. I noticed my work VISA was receiving unauthorized charges from an entity called AP9*VALUEMAX. I called AP9*VALUEMAX and was informed that I was signed up through my association with INTELIUS. Apparently there was a 10-day trial membership (that I don't remember) and then subsequent monthly charges of $19.95.
