We joined Direct Buy under the same duress that many people have experienced. The sales pitch was good...but not really true. My husband and I are usually very astute and cautious, but the claims seemed to be pheasble(our sales guy was a Pastor). At any rate, I ordered a bedroom set and mattress/box spring. I asked for the associates' advice and return and box spring depth and bought a standard box spring. I puts the matress about 4.5 ft off the floor...no big deal.
