Long story short, 2001 acquired an equity loan on my home with Centex. Same situation as all the other complaints I've read on here. I fought to keep my home I thought they wanted and they got but somehow I believe I can still get it back if I could locate an attorney familiar with equity loan laws in Texas. I haven't found one yet. A real estate attorney in my hometown did advise me that because of all the ins and outs of the equity loan laws they don't fool with it (equity).
