I was planning to purchase the 1st season of Designing Women on DVD for my mom as a gift. Before purchasing, however, I decided to read the reviews posted on amazon's website. One of the reviews recommended buying the entire DVD series for only 80 dollars plus s/h rather than spending 30 dollars plus s/h for only the first season; the rest of the series hasn't been released yet.
