In 2/07 I purchased a Mag Innovision MA-32EF1AC 32' LCD tv manufactured 1/07 from Staples. The TV ceased to function last friday after doing a channel scan and then powering down the set. Since then, the set will not power on properly, but instead will power on and produce a humming noise but no display and no response to button input. This is a known firmware defect with this set which is heavily documented by MAG/Proview's customers online.
