We won a bid on Skyauction.com for a cruise in Fiji. We paid US$450 for a cabin upgrade and US$80 for transfers to and from the airport. Neither of these 2 services were given to us and upon our return, they ignored our e-mails claiming simply that they were “investigating our case”. This has already dragged on for 4 months and I don’t think we would ever hear from Skyauction again if we hadn’t gotten American Express involved, asking them to reimburse us. Even so, Skyauction’s claims are simply unbelievable, saying that we were given compensations like drink credits on the cruise. What a scam!! read full review »
