'Verizon' is a sick twisted scam. That is my experience and I report it here. I have never received their service and I never would want it. (I do hear from others that I am not missing anything but a headache anyway). Verizon sent me a bill for a phone line and phone services that was not mine. There were no calls made and it was a monthly service fee for three months of a phone line that I never had, and obviously no one ever used.
