When I was divorced there was no balance on my credit card thru JcPenney. It was not mentioned in the divorce since neither of us were aware it was still active. I went to apply for a card and was told I all ready had an active account, so I dug out my old records and found my credit card. I used it to purchase a few minor things, the bill came to me in my ex-husbands name and mine. I tried to call them, write them, email them to have my ex's name removed.
