Bank of America is pretty much arbitrarily changing the terms for its credit card holders. In the last 6 months, they lowered my credit limit by $3000 without notice. Curiously, they lower the limit as soon as I pay down the balance. When I called BoA about this, I was told that they would not increase the credit limit. However, a senior credit analyst and a supervisor suggested that I apply for a secured credit card to get a higher limit. I applied for the secured credit card online, and was promptly rejected.
