My Post Deliverer continues to leave my mailbox opened when she delivers mail. I have complained personally at the local post office, and I have left a little note taped to the side of my porch asking politely for the mailbox lid to be closed. Nothing. I have a mailbox which is attached to the porch, with a top opening lid, and just enough distance from the awning to collect quite a bit of rain when the weather turns foul.
