I hired a local moving company in DeLand Florida to move me to Anchorage, Alaska. He gave me a quote and told me that the international mover (continental Van Lines) was requiring payment upfront (Continental confirmed this). I gave him $2327.50 on March of 09, the remainder $2327.50 was given to him on the day he picked up my stuff, May 6. He has no communication with me since this date.
