Here we have a college student, 20 years old, 4.0 grade average, has kept the same part -time job since he was 16, as well as the same checking account with Wachovia (never overdrawn)...decides it is time to get some credit established. What better way than to apply with his own bank & take advantage of their College Visa Credit Card (which, by the way, states 'YOUR COLLEGE YEARS ARE THE PERFECT TIME TO ESTABLISH CREDIT', only to be denied because he HAS NO CREDIT!
