I recently received notice (along with a million+ other folks) that my minimum payment will increase 250% on My Chase credit card. The only reason I used it was because they hounded me with great balance transfer offers. Finally I used the checks they sent and closed two other accounts. Everything was fine...until now. I never missed a payment. I was never late. I ALWAYS paid at least $100 more than the minimum required payment. So what happened?
