I recently received a bill for a bestbuy credit card, operated by Chase Bank. It had a late fee of $35.00 because it was received one day late. The due date was actually May 31st: A SUNDAY! My electronic transfer did not get paid until the 1st, because Sunday is not a business day. Chase refuses to lift this late charge, although this is the first month that my bill became before the first of the month, so this also caught me off guard. I know the banks are hurting these days, but skimming the pockets of hard working people like myself over stupid technicalities is just plain horrable! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! read full review »
