I recently purcahsed an HP laptop on July 4th using my husband's Credit card. We found it was denied since they couldn't verify that I had permission to use, whatever methods they used for verification were very inefficient. I had to spend 30 mins on the phone trying to explain to them I was his wife and was making the purchase and that my husband was out of the country and could not be reached on his cell phone.
