My wife and I recently came homw from work to a house that had no power. SCE had cut power. We had recently paid, in full $167.00 our on-line balance a few weeks prior. Wwe then contacted SCE, said that we still owed an outstanding balance of $55.00? we explained that's not what the website indicated. How were we supposed to know this balance still existed? they cut power for $55.00, which we then paid while on the phone.
