Capitol one chose to add money to my purchase amount, and no purchase was made. This was done so they could colect a higher interest on a certain dollar amount. After several attempts to get an explanation, and several differant answers from each person I spoke with. I am told they can do this if they want to. It certaily can't be legal. How can a person owe more on a purchase when a purchase was not made. I believe they are doing this to many clients. The one thing they are counting on is the consumer will not notice this.
