I have used Slim Fast products on and off for many years, but this time, the Optima bar I purchased just three days ago had a very weird taste. It reminded me of when I've bitten into a tablet or pill that should have been swallowed whole. It had a bitter, drug-like, gross taste. I'm hoping I wasn't just poisoned! The wrapper and outer box were not tampered with in any way. I don't think I will eat any more of the bars in this box and will discontinue the product altogether. No way should a "crispy peanut caramel" bar taste like a medical pill. read full review »
