On 3 July 2009 we had confirmed flights on American, LaGuardia to Durham, NC. While waiting through a weather delay, our flight was canceled; even though two flights, both delayed, left for Durham. One flight was scheduled to leave before ours and the second was scheduled after our flight's departure time. American gave weather as the reason for the cancellation; even though the two flights to Durham, before and after our scheduled departure time, did not seem to have weather problems. Maybe American has a problem with excess seats on their flights, which this sort of customer care will surely enhance. read full review »
