Dr. Laura Olsen Taylor was raised in Mooresville, North Carolina, and graduated as Salutatorian from Lake Normal High School in 2005. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington for vocal performance with a minor in chemistry and graduated summa cum laude in 2009. She spent time studying at Ulm Universitat in Ulm, Germany, and attended UNC Charlotte for her post-baccalaureate work.
