I couldn't get the lower finance amount I needed. They told me I had to take a % of my home value. I fell behind when the interest rate increased on the loan, and sure enough I got a foreclosure from Home Eq. I called and made arrangements to pay $1, 000 a month for 12 months, to catch up. (My original payment was under $500). After a few months it was impossible to keep up with that much a month being self employed. Went into foreclosure again.
