Last year Discover changed our int rate from 15.24 to 17.99% for no reason. We always pay on time, more than the minimum amount and used the card frequently, as it was our favorite. Then, this year, they switched us from a fixed to a variable rate and even after we cancelled the card, (before the deadline) to keep our fixed rate, they are still charging a variable rate plus the prime rate.
