I answered my phone today and listened to a recording from "my" bank. The prerecorded message said it was calling from my bank (Sovereign) and that it needed to re-verify my personal information because they lost my info. I was supposed to enter in my social security number (!!!), my birth date, and say my mother's maiden name after the beep. I knew immediately that this was a scam but I listened so I could warn others about it. Your bank will NEVER EVER EVER call you to ask for private identifying information.
