I painted a dump rental property of Daniel's in a weekend, really trying to help the guy out so the place could be rented out ASAP. The materials totaled $216 out of pocket. I said I would try to keep the labor to $250. All said and done I asked $ 300 for labor for a job any painter would ask at least $450. To date he's paid $200 in materials, $100 towards labor.
