My son is an inmate at alameda county jail and the prices for commissary are extremely high. For instance, in Alameda county one comfort pack sells for 17.75 and in yolo sells for 16.75. I did a survey of other county jails that canteen correctional services delivers to and noticed that the majority of the inmates in those jails are caucasian. The prices defferentiate between each county by race.
