This company uses an "ongoing" contract concept when you sign to do your lawn. The result is that next year they will do your lawn without your express permission then bill you after the fact. They claim that would have given you the opportunity to cancel if you replied to these 'estimate' (which the claim they leave on your doorstep - in my case - I have no mail-box - our area has a common mail box).
