I opened a bank account for my kids about year and 1/2 ago and the person at NC told me that I had to open a checking for my kids since I didn't have $200 minimum to deposit. He fails to mention if there is no activity on the account after 6 months the account will be closed. So I found out the the money I deposited for my kids is gone. When I call to complain they tell me that I could have opened a savings for my kids with any amount. So because I wasn't given the savings account that I wanted I lost their money.
