Even though I have heard nothing positive about RAC, I found myself in a position that I needed a new couch and didn't have the cash upfront to pay for it so I reluctantly filled out the papers to have a couch delivered. It seems in signing the rental agreement, I was also signing up to get called every hour when I'm late with a payment and having their deliverymen/goons actually come to my apartment and pound on my doors 2x a day.
