07/27/2009 Overcharges ! Estimated billing based on past history of usage or so you are told...don't be fooled ! As a new customer I was charged for 500 Kwh more than I had ever paid in over 2 years using other Texas electric providers ... and that was my first bill ! My usual June bill of around $400 suddenly became $700 ! When I contacted DPI about bills that were almost double what I had been paying to other providers I was told that if I was being overcharged they would refund the overcharges in 6 months, however they don't... read full review »
