Laptop motherboard self destructed- Laptop- Pavilion model dv 9308 Known problem with graphics chip causing motherboard to burn out. HP did NOT take a proactive approach to resolving their manufacturing defect, rather, they let their customers try to find out if their product is one of the millions they sold that are defective. Even though a customer registered the product at time of purchase, HP did not notify owners of the problem.
