We purchased a home and went to settlement on June 15, 2009. As part of our contract, a Home Warranty policy was issued to us for one year. On July 27, just one month after our purchase, our air conditioning stopped working on a very hot, humid, Saturday night. When I called to report it to the insurance company (which is required) the woman told me it was not an emergency and no one would be out until Monday.
