Had a Wamu credit card for 1 year (Bought out by Chase). I was NEVER late, NEVER carried a balance and paid in full. The closed the account due to a lie that Experian reported negative info. I have a monthly accout with Experian and my recent credit score is over 760!! I know Chase did the same thing to thousands of customers without notice. The closed the account on 7/21, I called them around 7/28 and was told the same story about Experian...I received the letter dated 7/29 stating same. The obviously do not want good customers, they want you to default so they can charge you high APR and late fees...I hope they pay for this unethical practice! read full review »
