We purchased a Silky Terrier puppy from The Pedigree Shop in Lone Tree, Colorado on February 27, 2009. On March 3, 2009 we had the puppy examined by a vet who noticed that the puppy had incisions that indicated she had some type of surgery. Thereafter we went back to The Pedigree Shop to inquire about the incisions and were informed by the owner of the shop that the breeder did not disclose any health issues, but it was probably a hernia that is “common” in puppies.
