I've had a 'Giro' account for years then it became Alliance & Leicester now it's Santander . . . Have they made all their (competent) customer services staff redundant? Having set up my usual regular payments this April - Yes they paid them . . . and then they paid them again - the same day. After me complaining by phone - the following month they did it again TWICE ! My account balance is dropping like a stone - and they don't answer my letters. Is this the new Spanish system ?
