As noted in another complaint, 1&1 claims that an attempt to charge credit card/bank account failed. They do nothing for 3 months, no attempt at contact. No email, no phone call, no snail mail. They then tack on a hefty "disconnection" fee and turn the account over to a collection agency. What a scam. Stay away from these unscrupulous scumbags. read full review »
