This is a scam misrepresented as a Google product. They charge you $1.97 and you get 2 different emails. One stating that you've signed up for a trial offer for 14 days. If you don't cancel before then, you'll be charged $29.95 monthly for a product that I declined. The other is for an instructional CD. In the fine print of the terms and conditions, it states that if you don't cancel, you'll be charged on a monthly basis. No where in the sign up for the CD was anything stated.
